Well- we are getting very excited for the new arrival and J and T (and K)- hope you guys are doing well! posted a few new pics from a few weekends back with a trip up to the cabin in Ely. We stopped at the Sudan Mine (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Soudan_Mine) which was pretty cool.
A bat landed on Lenny's head while he was in the Baby Bjorn down in the cave. There aint much that freaks Dad out these days after 4 yrs med school, 3 yrs. residency, 2 years of dirty diapers and seeing Josh naked, but this was a little scary I have to say. The little thing flipped and flopped around for a bit on my chest. I guess Lenny's shiny head looked attractive in the room full of helmets (he wasn't too keen on keeping his on).
Up in Ely we had a really nice time with the folks and the dogs. Max is still a poser. Jacob's still a water baby (pisces), and apparently really likes guacamole ("mo-yee" he says as he signs 'more'). Lenny's still smiling, and the folks are still doing their thing. Cindy and I were just happy to relax and have a little help with the kids.
I've got some stuff lined up with the 150 mile bike ride this weekend, 1/2 marathon after that (Cindy's signed up but , mmm, not sure), canoe/mtn bike/run tri, Apostle islands kayak trip, and 3 tri's lined up after that including a 1/2 ironman in Maine in September. Cindy's family is coming for a visit in a week and she is excited about that.
We're looking forward to seeing you all in October and can't wait to see the little ones! with lots of love- g

PIcs from VA and MD
Heya,
First trip with the 'lil monsters is going great. Flight was easy thanks to awesome people at JetBlue and the TSA. We had two rows entirely to ourselves and were even able to bring on the carseats. Rhys and Chloe slept the entire way and Aunt Chrissy picked us up at Dulles. All good.
Staying at Chrissy and Christine's in Montclair (yes, same name as town we live in) but have been to Edna's in Alexandria several times.
Tricia and I left the kids with an army of babysitters and went to Cathy Kelly's vacation house in Oxford, MD Thursday to relax a bit. Great place right on the water. We had dinner at a low-key seafood place truly right on the water (TK started getting seasick). We went for a run Thursday afternoon and Friday morning and did situps and pushups, etc., on the dock. Good times.

I'm in the job hunt while we're trying to decide whether we should stay in CA or move elsewhere. Have a couple phone interviews coming up but nothing solid yet. Meeting a recruiter here Wednesday. Who knows what's next.
Missing all you west coasters.
Lotsa love,
g&t&c&r
