OK, so I am finally getting on the blogwagon. Great to hear from everybody. Glad to hear that those of you on the left coast survived the tremblor. Although, I don't think it could quite compare to the harrowing adventures that some of us experienced this past weekend. We spent the weekend paddling in the Apostles. Amazing time, but definitely the most exhausting vacation I have had in a while. The trip started with a close encounter of the ursine kind, way too close. Its ok, he only made off with George's camera case (sans camera) and sleeping bag... and the trip ended with a death defying paddle back to the mainland in 2ft, 3ft, 4ft swells (from which I was conveniently plucked out by my friends on the sailboat). George and Mike continued the paddle with Cindy in tow (literally). But we all made it...Bearly.

Wow. That's awesome. Except for the near death part. Love the pics of the bear. Sounds like a great trip. More pictures!
Hey Cindy, nice butt. George, why are you walking on all fours...and shave for christs sake!
