That's right friends, Vandelay Industries is back on top! On a chilly January night we took the JCC softball championship from our long time rivals Team Zeki's. Zeki's started out fast up 2-0, then 3-2, but we came on strong in the 6th to score 4 runs, breaking a 5-5 tie and cruised to a 9-6 victory.
Noticeable absent from the game was our star Tonya Redfield, who was on a tour of Africa and Europe. When told of the team victory she said, "How'd you do it without me? I AM the team!"
Next season start in early April. Hope to see you all playing this season.
